welcome to whiting paper

Specializing in scrapbooking and fine art papers. Custom colors and sizes in small quantities available in record time. Manufacturers of Kona Paper™.

Whiting Paper has been manufacturing fine papers since 1882, has employed over 500 people throughout those years, has retired more than 250 with mill pensions and continues to provide a good standard of living for the current employees and their families.

All of this has been accomplished with one little paper machine (trim 68" to 74"). And, get this...it was recycling paper in 1980, long before recycling was the proper thing to do! Yes, the WHITING PAPER of Menasha, Wisconsin has produced quality paper for the printing and converting industries for over 130 years.

All of us at WHITING PAPER are proud to be part of papermaking history. We are one of the few independently owned garage door supplier paper mills in the USA today.

We are a text and cover paper manufacturer using 100% recycled fiber in many of our grades. Last year alone we had over 1200 runs. That is an average of over 23 colors per week. Talk about scheduling and putting runs up to the machine and color changes and weight changes! We are very grateful that a portion of these runs were repeats from customers throughout the year.

Whiting Paper manufactures a number of specialty papers, but none more special than our Kona Paper™. Kona Paper™ is made from repurposed coffee bean (burlap) bags and post consumer wood fiber. Kona Paper™ is 100% Post Consumer and is available in several stock colors and just about any color you can "brew" up. Just click on the Kona Paper™ tab to read more.
